Financial contributionsSection 108 of the Resource Management Act 1991 allows Auckland City to collect financial contributions in accordance with the relevant District Plan. If the financial contribution has not been paid, Auckland City can recover any outstanding amount(s) from a subsequent owner of the land. For further information about outstanding financial contributions, and what they relate to, contact us. RatesFor more information about property rates, refer to Rates. Drainage and water reticulation plansIf any completed and inspected (as built) private drainage plans exist for this property, they will be included in the attachment section of your LIM, as will a public drainage map. If you have not received drainage plans for this property this may be due to:
Consents and permits issuedPrior to the introduction of the Building Act 1991 there was no legal requirement to keep records, so Auckland City may not actually hold specific permit details for original construction. This may explain why there are no consent details showing on the LIM. Building consents - building, plumbing and drainageIf the details on the LIM do not match what you know to be on site, contact us for more information. Note: Building plans are not part of the LIM content. Contact us to find whether the relevant building plans are held. If you have determined that building plans are held, click here to find out where to go to view or obtain building plans. Resource consents - planning and subdivisionsIf the details on the LIM do not match what you know to be on site, contact us for more information. Consent conditionsOnly the summary pages of what has been consented, and the list of conditions, are included within the LIM (this would explain why not all page numbers are included). Click here to find out how to view or obtain full copies of how any consent decisions were reached by Auckland City. Code Compliance CertificatesPrior to the Building Act 1991, Code Compliance Certificates (CCCs) were not required. Building work done before 1991Auckland City may have have a record of inspections relating to building work permitted before the Building Act came into effect in 1991. You will need to visit us to determine whether this information is available. Click here to find out where to go to view or obtain information held on the property. Building work done after 1991If the LIM shows that a CCC has not been issued for specific work, but you have evidence that it has been, contact inspections. If a consent has been approved but the CCC has not been issued you will need to arrange an inspection to confirm compliance with the approved plans and standards. Contact inspections as below:
