Order your LIM online and choose to receive an electronic version (conditions apply).

The online LIM service can be used for any property within Auckland city's boundaries.

Print and complete the Land Information Memorandum Application form (426k PDF) and send it to us with your payment. Obtain site details about the property by referring to Property and rates information search.

Note: You must include either credit card details or your customer account number if wish to fax your application. The LIM will not be processed until payment is received.

Cost and timeframe

Note that urgent LIMs are not available for Great Barrier Island.

All LIM reports must be produced within 10 working days as specified by the Local Government Information and Meetings Act 1987. The actual time taken to produce this information, providing all the necessary information is supplied with your application, generally takes less time

Avoid processing delays by providing all the necessary details and supplying payment with your application.

Non- urgent	Within 10 working days, but generally around five working days.	$243 incl GST

Courier fees

The cost to courier a LIM is $8.50. If you select courier as your dispatch method, you will need to include the payment with your application. LIMs will not be couriered out until full payment is received.

Note: The $8.50 fee only applies to locations within the Auckland area - from Albany to Papakura.
If you need a LIM delivered outside this area, you will need to arrange your own courier.
