The Auckland City Council, in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in the Litter Act 1979, and its amendments, and
in pursuance of all other powers and authorities in any other Act enabling the council in that behalf, revokes the Litter Act Special
Order adopted by them on 26 September 2002 and adopts sections 13 and 14 of the Litter Act 1979 to issue infringement
notices and infringement fees for the following offences:
- deposits any litter or, having deposited any litter, leaves it in or on a public place
- deposits any litter or having deposited any litter, leaves it in or on private land without the consent of its occupier.
The infringement fee in respect of any of the above offences shall be determined in accordance with the attached Schedule.
This Resolution was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland City Council on the 23 August 2007 having been publicly notified
in the New Zealand Herald on 8 August 2007 and City Scene newspaper on 12 August 2007 and 19 August 2007.

| Deposits animal remains or having deposited animal remains leaves it in or on a public place or in or on
private land without the consent of its occupier. |

* 20 litres is the approximate maximum capacity of two standard supermarket bags in normal
conditions.
** 120 litres is the approximate maximum capacity of a standard 'wheelie bin' in normal conditions.
