Community networks

Community networks provide a forum for community groups and community-focused people to meet, exchange information and
discuss community issues. Community advisors coordinate, facilitate and/or offer support for these networks. Each network
reflects the needs of participants/members and as a result each takes on its own
'personality' and direction.
Auckland City is responsible for co-ordinating and publishing the Catalyst
community newsletter.
Networks are a place where:
- groups can motivate and encourage one another
- avenues of assistance can be identified
- information can be distributed and shared
- solutions may be identified
- events and happenings can be promoted
