The noise from race three was measured at 91dBA (L₁₀). This is 1dBA above the prescribed limit and has resulted in the Council (as landowner) and Springs Promotions Ltd forfeiting $1000, (as per the Record of Mediated Agreements dated 5 October 2005) to the Western Bays Community Board. Auckland City Environments will not be initiating formal enforcement action.
