This is Auckland's premier centre for young people. It offers free drop-in for 7 to 18 year olds with a stadium, 25 metre swimming pool, social
recreation area and a learning centre. There are also regular after school and holiday programmes, camps and day trips.
Junior membership gives you fitness and weight lifting opportunities with discounted prices on many other programmes. Adult
memberships are also available.
Youthtown also has three squash courts, basketball and badminton.
Youthtown's lodge is available for overnight stays by groups, with 56 bunks, showers, disabled facilities and an exclusive lounge/eating area.
This is a caring and supportive environment aimed at providing a 'physical, social and creative experience'.
Auckland City supports Youthtown through an annual operational grant.
