The centre was developed as a joint project between the ASB Trust, Auckland City and Tamaki College and was opened in 2002.
The Tamaki College Community and Recreation Centre has been established to provide a modern well equipped facility that caters
or a range of age groups, youth and community clubs and associations in and around Glen Innes
Stadium activities include basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, badminton and netball. A modern fitness room and multipurpose
meeting rooms are also available for community use.
