Tepid Baths

Auckland City Council has regretfully announced the decision to close
the CBD's Tepid Baths in May next year.
Independent engineering reports commissioned by the council have
identified that the 95-year-old building is in poor condition, which is
to be expected given its age and use as a public baths facility.
The intention is to preserve and restore this wonderful heritage
building and reopen it again in 2014 in time for its 100th birthday.

Tepid baths
Tepid Baths has a great range of facilities for you to keep fit in the restored
historical surroundings.
The baths incorporate a 25 metre lap swimming pool, modern fitness centre, aerobics
studio and aqua aerobics / kiddies pool. There are also sauna, spa and steamroom
facilities for post-training relaxation.
