Help using
this service
- This service only contains
information on properties within the Auckland City Council boundaries.
If you are unsure if the address you are looking for is within Auckland City
boundaries, you can check it against the ward
boundaries.
- When you enter the address
of the property you want to look up, enter only the street number
in the street number field.
- do not enter letters or
numbers - for example, if
you wish to locate 20a Queen Street, enter 20 Queen and select the unit from
the list displayed
- do not enter unit numbers
- for example if you wish to locate 5/23 Queen Street, enter 23 Queen street
and select the unit number from the list displayed
- If you receive a message
that the street you entered could not be located:
- try entering the first few
letters of the street name in case we have an alternative spelling.
- try re-entering the name
of the street on its own, ie leave out the street type such as Avenue,
Road, rd, etc.
- enter the full name of the
street - eg Great South, not Gt South and Great North, not Gt
North.
- for streets with 'Mount'
in them, this is abbreviated to Mt - eg Mt Eden Road or Mt Albert
Rd.
- If you are unsure of the
spelling, enter the first three letters of the street name and select the correct street from the
results listed. You can search with the first letter of the street name, but
it could take a long time for the results to be displayed and may appear as
though there are problems with your connection.
- If you are unsure of the
street number, enter the street name on its own, then select the
property from the list.
- You do not need to use
wild cards (*) to search for streets, eg Espla*. If you are unsure of the
spelling, enter the first few letters without the wild card.
- If there is more than one
street name matching the one you entered, the streets with the suburb will
be displayed, so you can select the one you want.
- Use the assessment number to
confirm the property is the correct one.
- If there is any information
contained in this service that you wish to query, or you believe to be
incorrect, please contact
us.
- See also Explanation
of terms which provides a explanation for each piece of information
provided.
