Making an objection to the Rating Information Database

Talk to us if we have your details wrong.

You can object to the information that we hold on your property for the following reasons:

  1. that a rating unit included in the district valuation roll has been omitted from the database

  2. that information included in the district valuation roll has been omitted from, or inaccurately entered in, the database

  3. that information included in the database, other than information entered from the district valuation roll, is incorrect

  4. that there has been a failure to enter a lawful amendment to the district valuation roll into the database.

Note: You cannot object to the values shown in the Rating Information Database. If you wish to object to the values provided to you on a valuation notice you must use the valuation objection form. More information on the 2005 property revaluation is available on this site.
