If you need a new recycling collection date calendar, first look up your street name in the lists above, check the collection area column next to your recycling collection day (will be either 1 or 2) and download the appropriate calendar below:

Please note: the new calendars are effective from 1 July 2011.

Different collection times

Night collections

Rubbish is collected at night due to high traffic volumes and vehicles parked on the streets during the day. Bins should be placed at the kerbside by 6pm on collection day.
However, recycling (blue-lidded recycling wheelie bin) is collected during the day to minimise noise disturbance. Unless otherwise stated, recycling should be placed on the kerbside by 7am on collection day.

Night collections are collected during the hours of 6pm-2am, residential properties will be prioritized for collection first with commercial properties being serviced after this.

Early starts

Because of high traffic volumes and/or vehicles parked on the streets during the day, the rubbish and recycling contractors have been given permission to start earlier than the normal 7am start time.
