Fire engines in Queen Street, Auckland Central. At the front a 1914 Kissel Kar hose and ladder tender (commissioned 4 March 1914); at the rear a 1910 Dennis pump (commissioned November 1910). Possibly heading to the weather delayed display at the Auckland Exhibition in the Domain on 13 April 1914, soon after 8pm, where the Auckland Fire Brigade attended to a wooden 'building' of two floors, four rooms, set alight from inside. Two pumps responded from Central.
