Portrait of Lance Corporal N P Gibson of Kaimiro, probably Noel Pairman Gibson, Service number 13/341, who was wounded and subsequently died on 28 August 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey. His name appears on the Hill 60 (New Zealand) Memorial, Hill 60 Cemetery, Turkey and he was awarded the Star (1914-1915), the British War Medal (1914-1920) and the Victory Medal.
