Abstract

The archive focuses on Roy Billing's theatre work in New Zealand between 1975 and 1986. Draft and working scripts of Maurice Shadbolt's Once on Chunuk Bair, and Greg McGee 's Foreskin's Lament. Programmes and flyers for New Independent Theatre, Theatre Corporate and Mercury Theatre. Scrapbooks (1975-1987) contain press clippings, ephemera, photographs, letters and memorabilia of productions in which Roy Billing appeared. Oral history interview (2006) relating to Once on Chunuk Bair.
