Description
Showing a train with passenger carriages arrived at Motuhora railway station, 49 miles north-west of Gisborne for the opening of the line. Motuhora marks the end of a line intended to run from Gisborne through to Motu, five miles further on, and then to Opotiki and Tauranga.
