Showing people laying wreaths on a cenotaph at the front of the Auckland Town Hall, corner Queen Street and Greys Avenue, during an Anzac Day service. This was a temporary, movable cenotaph, used for Auckland's Anzac service between 1922 and 1929. By 1930 a permenant cenotaph had been erected in front of the new War Memorial Museum in the Auckland Domain.
