About Glen Eden Stories
Glen Eden Stories is a community led project which began in late 2012. The project is about giving the people of Glen Eden a chance to share their stories and share their ideas.
These stories have been recorded by volunteers at local community events or by arrangement.
Glen Eden Histories
The West Auckland Research Centre, Auckland Libraries has archived the Glen Eden Stories collection for future access.
If you are interested in historical accounts of Glen Eden, you can access and listen to the Glen Eden History Collection recorded in the early 1980s. These recordings informed the book "In those days: an oral history of Glen Eden" by Pauline Vela.
These collections, as well as historical photographs and local newspaper articles can be found at Local History Online.
