If you are a copyright holder and believe any material stored on this website
or elsewhere on our network infringes your copyright, you may issue us with a
notice pursuant to the Copyright Act 1994 to request that the matter be
investigated. In order to be processed for investigation, notices must be sent

To assist council in its investigation of the matter, your copyright
infringement notice should:
- be in writing and signed by the copyright holder (or their authorised
agent) and comply with the information requirements set out in the
regulations under the Copyright Act, including the following:
- the name of the person signing the notice and the name of
the copyright owner or the copyright owner's duly authorised agent (if
different from the person signing the notice)
- the contact details of the persons referred to in (i)
above, which must include telephone number, postal address, email
address, and fax number (if a fax number is available)
- the date and time when the alleged infringement was
discovered
- a description of the specific material that is alleged to
be infringing
- the nature of the alleged infringement
- the online location where the allegedly infringing material
is found.
- provide such further additional information as may be necessary to
support your claim, or as may be reasonably requested by council to assist
its investigation.
Timing
We will acknowledge receipt of your copyright infringement notice as soon as
possible.
We will inform you of the outcome of our investigation, and any actions
taken, as soon as practicable and within 20 working days from the date we
receive your notice.
Extension of time
We reserve the right to extend the time for council's response, at our
discretion, acting reasonably.
