Grey Lynn Community Centre redevelopmentFrom City Scene, published on 19 August, 2007 The Grey Lynn Community Centre is being redeveloped to include an additional meeting room, disabled toilets and offices in the mezzanine area. A new lift will also be installed to make these facilities more accessible. The building will be closed during redevelopment and the centre office will be operating from 300 Richmond Road from Monday, 3 September until December. Regular classes and activities will be running at alternative venues (visit www.greylynn.org.nz or phone 378 4908 for details). The centre's school holiday programme will operate from Westmere Primary School during the September break but interested parents should still call the centre to book. The Citizens Advice Bureau will offer their services from the Ponsonby Community Centre (phone 376 0392) and Plunket services will run at Saint Columba Church (phone 378 4565).
