What's your mission for the day?

From City Scene, published on 26 August, 2007

Make someone else's life brighter on National Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Day on 1 September. RAK Day is the brainchild of Josh de Jong and Marshall Gray who thought it would be great to have a day where people throughout New Zealand did something nice for someone else for no reason at all. The possibilities are numerous, but if you want to make someone else's day brighter on 1 September, here are a few suggestions -wash a friend's car, pick up the litter in your street, bake a cake for a friend, visit your local rest home or make morning tea for your staff. For more information about RAK Day, visit www.rak.co.nz or phone 570 9050.
