Professionals who market, sponsor, plan, deliver and manage events attended last month's Eventing the Future conference. The conference allowed industry professionals to network and share ideas. The council is proud to have supported and hosted the conference, given the vital role the industry plays in making Auckland a vibrant, must-visit city. AUT University public affairs manger Renata Blair says the conference helped him realise how the unique culture of each New Zealand city can be used to shape events that boost the local economy and civic pride.
