New look - Proposed plans for the Auckland War Memorial Museum and surround area.

Auckland City Council received 32 public submissions on a draft plan for the Auckland War Memorial Museum and cenotaph surrounds in the Auckland Domain. Initial analysis shows strong support for the plans, which include new art work or a water feature, new paving and seating, and improved pedestrian access and lighting. Submissions will be considered by the Hobson Community Board in November, and the Arts, Culture and Recreation Committee in December, before the plan is '.
