The completed Quay Street bus lane between Tangihua and Commerce streets will improve travel times into the CBD during peak morning traffic. The bus lane operates between 6am and 10am and is an extension of the citybound bus lane along Quay Street. The extension is a part of Auckland City Council's plan to continue developing the city's network of bus lanes to make public transport an easy and viable option for Aucklanders.
