Protecting our heritageFrom City Scene, published on 14 October, 2007
Auckland City Council and the Auckland District Health Board have signed a covenant protecting a 100-year-old Edwardian homestead on Claude Road, most recently used as a medical office at Greenlane Hospital. The covenant protects the house, a puriri tree scheduled for heritage protection and four other protected trees on the site.
