Welcome to Auckland, a guide for new residents produced by Auckland City Council, is available at any council library, the new migrants' centre or by phoning 379 2020. The booklet contains useful information about employment, schooling, transport, accident and emergency services, and housing. The booklet - available in Arabic, Chinese, English, Hindi, Korean, Maori, Samoan and Tongan - is part of the council's aim to provide new migrants with information to help them settle into Auckland.
