Love your mountain

Celebrate Maungawhau-Mt Eden's "Love Your Mountain Day" on Sunday, 2 December from 10am to 4pm. Join the Friends of Maungawhau for a guided walk at 11am or 2pm to learn about the history of the mountain. The road to the summit will be closed to traffic so you can enjoy a walk over the mountain, while the historic Government House grounds and Eden Garden will also be open to the public. Auckland City Council, Ngati Whatua o Orakei and Volunteering Auckland proudly support this event.
