See fearsome beasts on stage under Auckland War Memorial Museum's new dome at Gondwana: Land of the Giants from Wednesday, 9 to Sunday, 27 January. The live theatre performance takes you on an inspiring journey back through time to an amazing land where plants are as tall as buildings and dinosaurs share the planet with gigantic dragonflies and strange ocean dwellers. The production features spectacular full body puppets in a giant inflatable garden, with visual effects and evocative soundscapes recreating how prehistoric creatures nested, fed and fought for survival in their changing landscape.
