Safer cycling: Work on cycle lanes along Mt Albert Road was recently completed.

Work on cycle lanes along Mt Albert Road, from the intersection of Woodward and Carrington roads to the intersection of Sandringham Road Extension and Mt Albert Road, was recently completed. The project has improved walking and cycling facilities by marking out 5km of new cycle lanes, building four new pedestrian refuges, relocating four bus stops and a bus shelter, and removing a redundant bus shelter.
