Creative communities information sessions

From City Scene, published on 3 February, 2008

The council is hosting several free public information sessions about creative community funding. The funding, provided by Creative New Zealand and administered by the council, is available for people involved in innovative, well-managed projects that encourage active participation in the arts at a local level. The sessions will outline the application process for this year's first funding round and allow people to discuss potential projects with the council's arts and funding advisor. The first four sessions are:

  • Thursday, 7 February, noon, Otahuhu Town Hall Community Centre lower conference room, 10 High Street
  • Monday, 11 February, 6pm, Avondale Community Centre Rosebank Room, 99 Rosebank Road (Mandarin interpreter available)
  • Thursday, 14 February, noon, Fickling Convention Centre Waikowhai Room, 546 Mt Albert Road, Three Kings
  • Thursday, 21 February, 6pm, Onehunga Community Centre, 83 Church Street.
