Have a go bike lessons

Are you keen to take up cycling but lack confidence? Do you want to develop skills and learn how to fix a puncture?

If the answer is yes, take part in one of the council's free Have a go bike lessons for adults. Simply bring your bike and a cycling helmet along to one of the sessions listed below, which start at 6pm and finish at 8pm:

  • Monday, 11 February at Aotea Square, central city
  • Tuesday, 12 February at War Memorial Park, Lovelock Track, Wesley
  • Thursday, 14 February at the Reihana Street car park, Orakei Domain
  • Tuesday, 19 February at the Grey Lynn Park car park, Elgin Street
  • Thursday, 21 February at the Beachcroft Avenue car park, Onehunga Bay Reserve.

Shorter bike lessons will also be available between 2pm and 3pm at the Auckland International Cultural Festival on Sunday, 17 February at Wesley's War Memorial Park.
