Auckland city will be bathed with music and light at this year's SkyCity Starlight Symphony at the Auckland Domain on Saturday, 23 February from 7.30pm to 10.15pm. The entertaiment includes Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, classical singer Will Martin, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, the SkyCity massed choir and talented instrumentalists from around the country. The council-supported event features classical music favourites, a spectacular laser light show and a fireworks finale. Volunteers will be collecting a gold coin donation on the night to support Kidz First Children's Hospital.
