People living in or near Point England are invited to a workshop to give their feedback on council plans to improve road safety in the area. The "Self explaining roads" project, jointly run by Auckland City Council and transport research company Ternz, seeks feedback on plans to boost safety by reducing vehicle speeds through better street design. The project follows a survey indicating concern about vehicles speeding in the area. The workshop is to be held at the Ruapotaka Marae on Monday, 25 February from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
