Regional governance

Auckland City Council will be asking Aucklanders for their views on regional and local governance arrangements to inform its submission to the Royal Commission on Auckland Governance.

As part of the submission process, the council will discuss regional governance issues with community boards and other key stakeholders over the coming weeks. The commission has recently confirmed that public submissions will be due on 22 April.
