Voting documents for the Avondale/Roskill ward by-election will be mailed to registered voters in the area on Tuesday, 18 March. The by-election follows the death last November of Councillor Linda Leighton, elected in 2007's local authority elections. Voting is quick and easy to do and is a great opportunity to choose the person you want to represent your community. The deadline to return voting documents is noon on Wednesday, 9 April - the official by-election date.
