Easter at Auckland Museum

From City Scene, published on 16 March, 2008

Auckland Museum has Easter-themed activities on offer for the kids, from 21 to 25 March, along with plenty of interesting exhibits for adults to enjoy.

Children can take home mementos of their visit by following the museum's Easter trail to find eggs hidden in the Origins Gallery or create Easter badges to give family and friends. And while they're at the museum, kids can learn more about evolution by playing the life-sized video game, Metazoa.

Adults visiting the museum can enjoy its extensive collections and the popular exhibition, Nuclear Free: Protest Photography of Gil Hanly. This captures an era of protest and social awareness that led to New Zealand becoming nuclear free.
