Avondale/Roskill by-election

The council reminds registered voters in the Avondale/Roskill ward that the deadline to return voting documents is noon on Wednesday, 9 April - the official by-election date. The by-election follows the death last November of Councillor Linda Leighton, elected in 2007's local authority elections. Voting documents were mailed to registered voters in the area on Tuesday, 18 March. If you are eligible to vote and have not received a voting document, phone the electoral office on 307 7211 for a special vote.
