Bring the whole family: Onehunga celebrates its community spirit at the Onehunga Festival '08 on Saturday, 5 April from 11am to 4pm.

Onehunga celebrates its community spirit at the Onehunga Festival '08 on Saturday, 5 April from 11am to 4pm. Bring the whole family along to the free festival at the Onehunga Bay Reserve which features food and craft stalls, an inflatable water slide, information displays and on-water activities including "have-a-go" waka ama (outrigger canoes). There are also performances by local dancers and musicians, among them hip-hop funksters Spacifix (pictured) on stage from 2.30pm. The festival is proudly supported by Auckland City Council and the Maungakiekie Community Board.
