Hidden treasures

If you've ever wondered what your family heirlooms are worth then head along to the Mt Eden Village Antiques Roadshow on Saturday, 5 April from noon to 2pm, to find out.

The suburb's Ngauruhoe Street will be closed to traffic and transformed into a Victorian-era street with performers - and appraisers from auction house Art and Object available to evaluate antiques and heirlooms for a gold coin donation.

All funds raised will benefit the Maxine Van Der Velden Trust which provides educational scholarships to young Aucklanders. The Mt Eden Village Antiques Road Show is provided by the Mt Eden Village Mainstreet and Business Association.
