Small Business Expo 2008

The council is offering business owners free registration for Small Business Expo 2008, the largest event of its kind in New Zealand. The expo, at the ASB Showgrounds from 16 to 18 April, features more than 200 exhibitors - with products, services and seminars tailored to meet small businesses' needs. "The council's sponsorship of the expo recognises the vital role that small businesses play in Auckland's economy, and is part of council's efforts to create a more productive economy through innovation and creativity," says Councillor Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga, chairperson of the City Development Committee.
