Don't miss the Central City Library's new exhibition, The Book as Art - Contemporary Artists and Fine Press Books. The linocut (pictured) from Enid Marx's book, Marco's animal alphabet (printed by Oldham: Incline Press, 2000) is one of more than 50 treasures of intricate craftsmanship in the exhibition, drawn from collections in New Zealand, the United States and Britain. The special collections exhibition showcases the special design features of limited edition books - including type design, illustration, book binding, structure and subject range.
