Our city will host more than 120 writers and thousands of readers during the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival, 14 to 18 May at the Aotea Centre. Festival guests include 2007 Man Booker Prize winner Anne Enright, the winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, Junot Diaz and Nobel Prize in Literature recipient, J M Coetzee.

With an exciting programme of more than 60 sessions during the week - including readings, panel discussions and poetry events - the festival features food for thought for anyone interested in contemporary literature.
