Exciting addition: Stardome’s May programme includes Seven Wonders, exploring how the ancient wonders of the world were created.

Stardome Observatory’s makeover is proving a hit with young Aucklanders, with the Stardome’s recent school holiday programme and term 2 education programme fully booked. The council-supported $2.5 million upgrade provided the Stardome with state-of-the-art technology enabling visitors to view even further into the solar system.

During May, the Stardome will continue with its popular show The Sky Tonight, as well as Astronaut, narrated by Ewan McGregor; Legends: Orion, an animated film about the legends of the constellation; Zulu Patrol, an adventure featuring aliens journeying through the solar system; and Seven Wonders (pictured).
