Ecomatters at Avondale market

Find out what can and can’t be recycled, how to compost or start a worm farm, and other useful recycling hints at the Auckland City Council and Ecomatters road show, being held at Avondale market on 25 May, 8 June and 15 June.

The road show will also feature the council’s new blue-lidded recycling wheelie bins, which will come into use from 30 June.

The road show is one of several community initiatives the council is supporting to help achieve its goal of reducing the volume of rubbish sent to landfill.
