That Thing in the Park

Celebrate Youth Week by heading along to That Thing in the Park at Mt Eden’s Potters Park on Saturday, 31 May, from 11am to 4pm.

Local hip-hop acts Misfits of Science and Fast Crew headline the event, which features all day music and dance entertainment, stalls, and Singstar and 3-on-3 basketball competitions.

Youth Week runs from 26 May to 1 June and encourages young people to get more involved in their community, influence opinions, display their creativity, access information and, most importantly, have fun.

That Thing in the Park is proudly presented by Auckland City Council, and delivered together with students from the Music and Audio institute of New Zealand.
