Big Boys Toys is back again and bringing one of the fastest
road-legal super sports cars in the world
to Auckland.
The Koenigsegg CCX goes from 0 to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds
and has a top speed of 417km/h. Worth NZ$2.3 million, it leads the pack but is
only one in a list of attractions at the show this year.
Because Big Boys Toys are not limited to four wheels and
land, the event also has the New Zealand Motorcycle Show, marine and outdoor
equipment displays, pool tables, pinball machines and a range of hi-tech
devices.
There's also the Cheapskates Skate Nationals, the Memphis
Meltdown 2008 Strongman Competition, stunt performances from the
Honda Cunningstunts and a live tactical assault from the
NZ Army.
Bring the family along too. Your better half can relax in
The Edge Girls Lounge and children under 14 get free entry all weekend with a
paying adult.
