Westhaven pier gets an upgrade

Replacement of Westhaven's X-Loading floating pier is complete. The 200m timber-decked concrete pier protects marina berths from wave action and provides dinghy storage and a staging area so that pile and swing-mooring users can access their moorings. People can access the pier by contacting the Westhaven Marina office.

Mt Wellington's streets get safer

The council recently completed several upgrades in Mt Wellington to improve pedestrian safety. Work included footpath resurfacing, landscaping, new footpaths, new pram crossings and additional lighting in streets surrounding Sylvia Park. This is part of the council's commitment to maintaining 1141km of footpaths across the city.
