Future Planning Framework - coming to your area

Planning Auckland's future.

Coming to your area:
Make sure you come and look at the plans that may be affecting your area.

From City Scene, published on 16 April, 2009.

Don't forget to share your views on your area's Future Planning Framework.

Auckland City Council has begun various community engagement events, informing residents of the plans, and asking for their views.

The council has been visiting local shopping malls, arranging forums and setting up displays in local libraries. Here, touch screen kiosks and city planners are available to answer your questions and guide you through the framework.

You can also visit It's my backyard online- a popular dedicated website that gives you more information and accepts feedback and comment.

You have until Friday, 8 May to give your feedback.
