From City Scene, published on 10 May, 2009.

Anyone wishing to comment on projects in Auckland city or in their neighbourhood as part of the council's draft 10-year plan have until 5pm on Monday, 18 May to do so.

If you haven't been able to make one of the community meetings to discuss the plan, you can visit the council's website to find out what is happening. You can also enter in your address online to learn about projects intended for your area, as well as how much your 2009/2010 rates bill will be.

The website also features:

  • details of the financial and policy changes in the draft 10-year plan
  • information on how the plan and regional governance fit together
  • an audio-visual presentation.

If you are entering submissions or just looking at the plans, this can be done easily online or by visiting your local library.
