Queen Street wins again

Award-winning upgrade: Queen Street recently received a merit award in the Urban Design Category of the Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Awards.

The council's award-winning upgrade of Queen Street has been recognised again, this time at the Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Awards 09, which were held on 25 June. The upgrade received a merit award in the Urban Design Category.

This follows on from May this year, when the Queen Street upgrade won a New Zealand Architecture Award for urban design from the New Zealand Institute of Architects.
