Safer for pedestrians: New outdoor lighting has been installed at the Artstation building on Ponsonby Road.

New outdoor lighting has been installed at the Artstation building on Ponsonby Road - further profiling this great heritage building and making it safer for pedestrians in the area at night. Auckland City Council undertook the project on the former police barracks, which were built in 1906.

The building now provides visual arts programmes for the community as well as regular exhibitions and adult and children's art classes.
